Restart Emby Server With Scheduled Task?

Is there a way to use Windows scheduled tasker to restart the Emby server automatically?  Sometimes when I'm on travel and I can't get to my Emby server, I need to restart it.

yes you can do this.

if you run emby as a service you can do it with net stop and net start.

 

if you are not running emby as a service you can use the cmd commands taskkill & start or use powershell with stop-process and start-process

 

you can make this as a script and run the script in a scheduled task or if you just wanna run the commands without logging or control you can do it directly with task scheduler

Depends on your setup as you can script the api call or the plugin.
