I wrote this for Linux/Ubuntu for find duplicates. Concept is from original post from @PenkethBoyfound below.

This will search directory and find potential duplicates, generate a Duplicates.txt file with name and path of files that are potential duplicates.

find_duplicates.sh

Hi OP, is it possible to use more than one directory? I have 5 locations (eg USB hard drives) and need to include them; /mnt/usb1, /mnt/usb2, etc.

Thanks!

You can just use /mnt in your example and it will scan all directories.

Or symbolic link them to a directory and scan that directory.
