I am having issues getting cinema intros to work. I have installed the Cinema Intros plugin. I have activated it in the server settings, and I have activated it in the user settings but when I play a movie no trailer play. Not sure what I am doing wrong. The knowledge base says I need to install something called Trailers Plugin. All i can find is the Cinema Intros plugin.

Edit: I can't get this to work through the web app, the android app, or the Samsung TV app. The server is installed on a Synology NAS, version 4.8.8.0.

Yes, you need either Trailers plugin or locally downloaded trailers.

Trailers plugin should be available in your Catalogue.

Ahh, I just found it. Just installed and it is working. This may just be part of it but the second trailer that played was for the new Godzilla vs Kong. But it isn't a trailer but a Youtube video with a narrator talking about the plot in-depth.

Yes that is the trailer provided by the current source in the plugin.  Not much to be done about it as their really are no good trailer sources out there.  Or should say that can legally be used and has a api.

But not YouTube

Thanks for everyones help. Emby is by far the best media server/client I have ever used.

The plugin creator could write in an opt-in option for people to mark trailers as good or bad, regardless of the source. Eventually the database would complete itself. This isn't the place for that discussion, just thinking out loud.
