First and last seconds of songs are truncated

I'm running Emby server on Debian and using the iOS app. Everything is running well, except one thing: every song I play skips the first and last ~1 second. This happens on two different devices (so I don't think it is a device setting), and happens both on the local network and while connected to a VPN (so I don't think it is related to network lag).

Has anyone ever encountered this? Any idea how to fix it?
