Emby Music skipping first seconds of songs

Ever since the server app update about a month or so back, whenever I listen to music it skips the first second or two of each track; this happens on iOS or my Mac laptop, and happens to downloaded tracks as well as non-downloaded tracks. If I scroll the song back to the very beginning, it plays the first second then skips and starts the song over again from a couple seconds in. Subsequent updates to the server app and ios app have not helped. Has anyone else noticed this? Could it be something on my end? I would include my logs but they don’t give any indication of anything off. Emby server is up to date, 4.8.8.0

Let me know if there's something better I can attach, I attempted to replicate it as best I could, trying with both downloaded tracks and tracks in my server library. Thank you!

Hi, what Emby app are you using on the mac laptop when this happens?

It actually doesn't seem to be happening now from my laptop, either in browser or app, both ways songs begin smoothly. However, the problem persists in the iphone app. I've attached a recording so you can better hear the problem; this is the song "N R G" by Charles Bobuck, you can hear the chime at the beginning is cut off, even when i scroll the song back to the very start.
