Random video stuttering

Trying here to see if anybody can help.. But I am using Emby server Version 4.8.8.0 and have had the same videos on the server for like 3 years. And have made no changes (other than automatic updates) to the server.

And all of a sudden, one collection of videos starts out with a stutter and after about 2 minutes it plays with no problems. But then all of the rest of the shows start off and play entirely with no problems.

Any suggestions?
