xiaodiao 0 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Hello, could you separate series from collections? When there are numerous series, the custom collections I've created, like "TOP250" and "Netflix," become difficult to locate. I've tried using playlists, but they're quite inconvenient. Additionally, how does one scrape or refresh the artwork for collections on the home page? I recall in a previous version, there was an option to retrieve images again.
Happy2Play 9781 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Don't know if I necessarily follow but you could go to edit metadata and give them a custom sort title to make the first. Since you say home screen collections you would, you open the context menu on the Collection library, edit images, delete primary image, then go to Library or scheduled task and Scan libraries.

I've tried custom sorting, but strangely, titles without any tags have higher priority than those with brackets – for example, "TOP250" appears before 【TOP250】.... My idea is to remove series from the homepage collection library while keeping them in the movie & TV series library, so they remain searchable. Ideally, the homepage collection library would only include my manually curated sections like 【TOP250】.
Happy2Play 9781 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 No there is no way to exclude any created collection from the Global library Collections on Home Screen as it is All created Collections, the library tabs are limited to that specific library.
Happy2Play 9781 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 So if you removed types from Home Screen Collection it would not show you anything as you have exclude the existing content for specific libraries.

Is it really not possible to separate the series obtained from TMDB from the custom collections I create? I have 688 series, and I wish to establish various collections such as "Crime High-Rating Collection," "Sci-Fi High-Rating Collection," "Romance High-Rating Collection," "TOP250," and more. Mixing them all together looks unsightly and doesn't align with aesthetic standards at all.
Happy2Play 9781 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 No there is no distinction between a provider Collections and a custom user created Collection.

OK, it seems you don't comprehend aesthetics at all. Once the number of movies and series grows, no one bothers to manually open the collection library on the homepage anyway. I've made just two simple requests, and not even one has been addressed. Wishing you all happiness in life and prosperity. Goodbye.
Luke 42080 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Hi, stay tuned because the upcoming smart views feature should help with this. 1

This would allow users to conceal specific content without permanently removing it.
