Preconfigured Emby Accounts

Hello friends, I know there's a feature to access the profile of an account as Admin, but I was hoping for a way to have new accounts preconfigured with my preferred settings. For example, I want all accounts New and current to view all Libraries arranged with Newest on Top, all thumb to be configured to Larger, and for the Music category to show "Albums" as opposed to suggestions. I always have to manually log into each account and configure these settings for each library. Should I be putting this in the feature request section?

That is the issue of per client setting and user settings.

As user setting when creating a new user you can copy and existing user.  ie your library order

Thanks for the quick reply Happy, but even when I copy another profile it doesn't include the Larger thumbnails or the Newest on top setting. I was hoping we could override client settings with some kind of master template from the server.

Correct as that is a per client setting as most will not want Larger on a tablet or mobile or Smaller on a TV.

But not sure what you mean Newest on Top setting is though.  But no there is no template of setting that override client.

Only template is user setting to include library order and restrictions.  But believe there are FR out there.

Okay Sort order to other than default Title order.  But yes all these sort/filter display options are currently a per client option.
