Ive seen the topic brought up elsewhere but when someone has shown screen shots they dont look like my interface and I dont have the delete option. I watch on my android TV app and my iphone and the one i got on my mac is the same interface as all the rest. How would I go about getting whatever the other people are using so I can delete these playlists that I didn;t even create?

Thank you

Hi, was the playlist created in Emby?

As a matter of fact it was already there.  There are like 5 playlists there that I did not make, hence my reason for wanting to delete them.

And if you right click on them and choose Edit Metadata what path do they give?  Almost sound like playlists with media.

I don’t have those options.   I only get shuffle, add to playlists, add to favorites and download to as options.

Is your Emby user granted delete access on the library?

I can delete movies that are on the playlists but not the playlists themselves.

User playlist don't work that way as creating user can give collaboration to view or edit.

But what options do you see?  As you should be able to at least remove it from your view.

Now the view from the user that created it.

So media cannot delete this as it does not belong to the user.

But may need specific example with screenshots.

The first two examples are how it looks on my Android tv app and the second is what it looks like on my iPhone.   The Mac interface is the same as my Android Tv is.  IMG_3090.thumb.jpeg.2263de198a64d560d3bee0ddd91ebe1d.jpegIMG_3090.thumb.jpeg.2263de198a64d560d3bee0ddd91ebe1d.jpegIMG_3092.thumb.jpeg.12a151a66c7f8c75a297c49167a9f32c.jpeg

May need an Admin user to look at this Playlist to possibly see where it is.  As it may predate server playlist changes.

But can no reproduce a issue in the web client and playlists.

So where would I go from here? Thats just one playlist out of like 5-6 that are there.

Actually you will need admin user to see if you have delete permissions on Playlist library.

From admin user you should be able to edit metadata and see path

My Emby doesn’t have any options that look like that.   Where do I find them and on what platform exactly?

Are you the server admin?  Your images appear to be from a non-admin user account.  But that setting is in user setup via app setting-Users-{theuser}

I’m not an admin no.

You will need to contact the admin to verify the setting for delete as you could be deleting someone else's playlist.  But looks like an old one possibly still in /data/playlists.

Yes per your IOS app you do not have admin permission so the admin of the server you are connecting to has to verify the playlist and/or delete it as you do not have permission to.

Or verify you have full delete permissions.
