DaveZee13 1 Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Ive seen the topic brought up elsewhere but when someone has shown screen shots they dont look like my interface and I dont have the delete option. I watch on my android TV app and my iphone and the one i got on my mac is the same interface as all the rest. How would I go about getting whatever the other people are using so I can delete these playlists that I didn;t even create? Thank you
DaveZee13 1 Posted July 1, 2024 Author Posted July 1, 2024 As a matter of fact it was already there. There are like 5 playlists there that I did not make, hence my reason for wanting to delete them.

Almost sound like playlists with media.
DaveZee13 1 Posted July 1, 2024 Author Posted July 1, 2024 I don’t have those options. I only get shuffle, add to playlists, add to favorites and download to as options.
Luke 42077 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Is your Emby user granted delete access on the library?
DaveZee13 1 Posted July 1, 2024 Author Posted July 1, 2024 I can delete movies that are on the playlists but not the playlists themselves.

User playlist don't work that way as creating user can give collaboration to view or edit. But what options do you see? As you should be able to at least remove it from your view. Now the view from the user that created it. So media cannot delete this as it does not belong to the user. But may need specific example with screenshots.
DaveZee13 1 Posted July 1, 2024 Author Posted July 1, 2024 The first two examples are how it looks on my Android tv app and the second is what it looks like on my iPhone. The Mac interface is the same as my Android Tv is.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 May need an Admin user to look at this Playlist to possibly see where it is. As it may predate server playlist changes. But can no reproduce a issue in the web client and playlists.
DaveZee13 1 Posted July 1, 2024 Author Posted July 1, 2024 So where would I go from here? Thats just one playlist out of like 5-6 that are there.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 Actually you will need admin user to see if you have delete permissions on Playlist library. 2 minutes ago, DaveZee13 said: So where would I go from here? DaveZee13 1 Posted July 1, 2024 Author Posted July 1, 2024 My Emby doesn’t have any options that look like that. Where do I find them and on what platform exactly?

Are you the server admin? Your images appear to be from a non-admin user account. But that setting is in user setup via app setting-Users-{theuser}

Happy2Play 9780 Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 3 minutes ago, DaveZee13 said: These are what my settings look like Yes per your IOS app you do not have admin permission so the admin of the server you are connecting to has to verify the playlist and/or delete it as you do not have permission to. Or verify you have full delete permissions.
DaveZee13 1 Posted July 1, 2024 Author Posted July 1, 2024 Thank you I’ll contact the admin and see how it goes. 1
