Emby Qnap Server that will be offline.

I am creating a Emby Qnap server that will be on a sail boat for 8 week with only intermittent access to Wi-Fi

I have over 1k of movies on server when you click on the movie emby at that time go's out to the web and get's all the metadata  Cast & Crew etc.

If the server is not connected to the Internet this lookup fails.    Is there a way to have emby in the background get all the metadata for all the movies upfront?

So that when the Emby server is not connected to internet the movie metadata will still come up?

HI, yes when you setup the library just check the box "download images in advance". This will cause all show and movie images to get downloaded ahead of time, at the expense of longer library scans.

There's no option for this for individual person metadata, so when you click on a cast member, that lookup will still fail.
