tzubairi 0 Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Hi I’m using Emby on my Nvidia Shield TV. On some content (mainly TV shows) Emby allows me to increase playback speed. On some others that option doesn’t show up at all. Can someone explain why? Also in the content where I can increase playback speed, there’s often an audio sync problem. It resolves when I press playback correction but I believe that’s triggering some type of encoding. Can someone explain what’s going on. I also use VLC to play content at increased playback speed over the same LAN network and no issues there with audio or anything Thanks

If you don't care about that, you can set the app to downmix to stereo (in the Audio output option) and then our app can do the same all the time.

What does downmix do? If I change that setting will it also affect it when I’m playing content at regular speed?
