I am new to Bulky and have never "dropped" DLL files into my Synology NAS hidden folders.

The Bulky installation info says: copy and paste dll to the plugins folder.

I have no idea how to drop the DLL file into the /programdata/Plugins folder!

Thanks for your help.

---------------------------------

INSTALLATION -

NOTE: Default Target for installation is Emby-Server/programdata/Plugins - Please download the "dll" file below

  • copy and paste dll to the plugins folder.
  • restart your emby server
  • as this is in Development you will need to clear your browser Cache after each install, or the new changes will not appear
  • Enjoy

You will need to SSH into your NAS

And place the dll in to your programdata location shown in log or dashboard server info.  You will also have to verify permissions once you place the dll in the folder.

That a great start.  I've enabled SSH on my NAS, and installed WinSCP.

I can navigate to the folder:

but when I try to paste the Emby.Bulky.dll file there I get:

Any suggestions on how to fix "Permission denied" when trying to copy the DLL file to my NAS?

Thank you.

The plugin is also in Emby's plugin catalog under the Metadata section, so there's no need to manually copy the dll.

Awesome!  Much simpler.  Thank you all!

@VicMoore@Cheesegeezer Can you update the first post in Bulky topic and remove dll/zip/install instructions and mention plugin is in catalog.

Yes, I will do that. I sort of drop everything to work on PseudoTV.  By the way, I have a new GUI that you might like to look at.

I will fix this issue tomorrow.

It's nice to hear from you

Vic
