Install EMBY server using NAT rather than DHCP?

I originally had this issue about a year ago when i was playing with possibly moving my EMBY server to TrueNAS Core.. however now i'm in process of moving over EMBY server and i have an issue with the installation when selecting the NAT option.. server can not be accessed using NAT install.. however it works just fine when installing it using the DHCP option.. i would prefer to not have to use DHCP as it generates a random IP while NAT will use my server IP.. anyways, just wondering if this is by design? or has anyone been able to install EMBY server successfully using the NAT option?

thank you.

Hi, I'm sure it can be done but it just adds more complexity.

if that's the case, there is no point in perusing this further.. i thought maybe it was something simple that i was doing wrong.. i'll stick with the DHCP for now.. i plan on moving from trueNAS CORE to SCALE before the end of the year anyways.. EMBY on CORE will be my temp for the next 6months.. thank you @Luke
