Allow user to create a customised scheduled task, where it can trigger a script resident on the server.

Why would this be useful? is it not better if you have external scripts to put them on sort of schedule or own trigger, since this has nothing to do with MB3

I could see this being useful if you could also customize the triggers to something like “when playback of audio file begins on living room htpc"

Or a follow on from detecting new media on the monitored folder could trigger a script that backs up that new media to the backup location. Lots of potential use cases I would think.

Also....it could a manual thing. Doesnt necessarily have to be scheduled. It could be something you want to do having just managed the media on the server. Again, the backup option is a good example
