Movies not listed in Kodi with Emby addon.

I'm running the following versions of SW/HW.

android tv 11.0.0 api level 30
kernel linux 4.9.141-tegra-gfad87

kodi 21.0.1
git 20240409-7e760d1063
Transparency! 3.0 skin

I have the Emby addon running.  It's connecting to the QNAP NAS running Emby server, and is apparently pulling the media files ok.  The problem is that Kodi isn't listing the movies in the "Movies" frontend.  TV shows and Music are working as they should.  I've tried both EmbyCon  and Emby for Kodi Sync, and also have tried Addon mode vs. native mode.  Also tried other skins.  The "Manage Sources/Videos" entry shows the correct path to the shared folder on my NAS via SMB, and it goes through each file and downloads the metadata for each.
I still get the result of "MOVIES: 0" instead of my normal collection.
I've been down the rabbit hole for a few hours now and know I'm missing something obvious.

A sanity check would be much appreciated!

Which version of  Emby for Kodi?

Try beta 10.X, 9.X might have issues with Kodi 21

Thanks quickmic.  Sorry I didn't include that.  I'm running Emby 10.1.0.

I looked at the logs and didn't see anything that really stuck out, but I know just enough to be dangerous.  FAR from everybody else's knowledge level here.

Nothing shows up under "synced nodes" or "dynamic nodes", but if I look under files/emby-for-kod-next-gen-addon-video it shows the source files in their correct source folders on the NAS.

The Kodi library is completely empty for movies.

Did you try to access the movies via Emby servers WebUI with the SAME user login data as you used on Kodi/plugins? Frankly sounds like a permission issue on your Emby server.

I was able to log on to the Emby server via the web interface just now.  I used the same user/password as my Kodi/Emby client is using.  I was able to play a movie on the server's web interface.

I think I may be on to something.  I tried adding the video source directly to the volume in the NAS.  It's still scraping the metadata, but the movies still aren't showing up in the library.  I'm going to roll back to Kodi v20 and see if that makes any difference.

Problem solved.  I went back to Kodi 20.2 and Emby 9.  Everything shows up as it should.

Thanks for your help!

Ok, but should work with 10.X too. I'll check it anyway.
