Ytrailers stopped downloading - Forbidden

After the initial install, it downloaded trailers without issue, but new media seems to be triggering this in the log file.

Yes, i did get a quick response from developer. Originally thought it would just fix itself due to it being at youtube server side but that is seeming less likely now.

Have been messaging developer with updates but as of today mine still has this issue.

Not sure if above is the issue, but they "google" is doing something.

Just highlighting what that Issue # (as well as a few dupes on the yt-dlp/youtube-dl repos have), but the gist is that for those of you that use yt-dlp/youtube-dl/etc, do NOT use your cookies with those apps at this time, as that may very well get your account banned.

Understood, and apologies for thread-jacking.  Google has been rapidly changing features that have been breaking things like your plugin, yt-dlg, SmartTube, SponsorBlock, etc lately.  Clearly they're bent on increasing revenues, decreasing costs, or both and are expending resources to make this more difficult.  Right now the cat is winning, but mice always find a way to get their cheese!  The purpose of my post was to make sure some of them don't die trying!

yes i have the same issue.

But as we are now talking about problems with this addon, maybe in a future update it would be great if we can sign in with our acount to youtube as i often see download not working for 18+ movies with the notification to sign in to verify age.

Maybe we can get a solution for this as well.

Hey all, I'm heartbroken to say my dad passed away on Monday 1st July after a 6 year battle with heart attacks, an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Parkinsons and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. it is working again, but can it be the downloader is now downloading in SD quality?

All the trailers downloaded since it is working again are in SD low quality, there is not a single new trailer with 1080p or 720p

Well that was an Ar*e! 

As part of Google/Youtube changes, they have made more of their content adaptive so they separate their audio from video streams. it used to be down to 1080, then 720 and now apparently 320 so I have to download the audio and video separately then merge them with ffmpeg after the fact. I've just pushed another release with this functionality. Give it a go.

I'm off to france on sunday for 3 weeks so will be out of the loop

Is there a way to login or add session cookies or anything else to download trailers of 18+ movies?
