arretx 0 Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 I have discovered more duplicates, so I'm deleting them from my folders using Lightroom Classic. When a file is deleted, how long does it take for Emby to reflect that change? Currently, I'm still able to view both files in Emby even though one doesn't exist anymore.
Lessaj 467 Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 Do you have real time monitoring enabled on the related library?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 (edited) Yes it is a matter of you have RTM enabled on the library and if RTM actually works on your specific library setup. If RTM is enabled the inotify event/librarymonitor should be seen in the log and a 90 second delay before Emby stops monitoring and imports the change. Edited June 16, 2024 by Happy2Play
arretx 0 Posted June 16, 2024 Author Posted June 16, 2024 I do. I just installed Emby in a docker container on my Unraid server and there are 27K images and videos that it's currently scanning for the first time. I'm seeing it slowly populate, but I probably can't expect to see any changes during this time...unless I'm mistaken.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 Correct as the changes will stack up and be done after the intial scan completes. 1
