Question: are the Extender Blue and Extender Black Color Schemes supposed to add a filter to backdrops?

At first I thought this was a bug, then I realized that just using the plain black or blue color scheme didn't have this issue. However, from my POV, this happened suddenly when I installed a (then) new dev version, but its been some time. I've been meaning to ask about this, but never got around to it, thus I don't remember which version it was when this changed.

 

I've attached an image using the 'Extender Blue' color scheme for the 'Classic' theme:

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure but there are a number of different colors and other stylings that are applied by selecting those different color schemes.  None of them have changed in eons though.  @@Soultaker might actually remember better what all the nuances are with those.
