Thumbnail Image Extraction not working consistently

Sorry about hijacking topic, but no point to start new one.

@Luke Not sure if it's good to post here, but for some Tv shows still random extraction works.

bif files created, but for some episodes it's not adding images. 24h past, but still nothing. Tried to "Identify" to reset images, but random images created.

Looks, it's trying download only from internet. It's old show, so nothing is in internet.

 Added log file, but it's no point as files added.

@Normanoswhat is your library episode image options?  Note episode image has nothing to do with bif file.

The reason I asked is because all of those episodes appear to have thumbnails, no?

I will guess 16, 19, and 20 are inherited images.

Sorry, as usual, struggling to explain...  

  in image, episode 15, 17, 18 have extracted image. For others it's using default thumb image.

 

yes, had to enable Image Capture

Only saw ffprobe for 16, 19, and 20 in the server log above, no extraction or errors.

If you Refresh the episodes with Search for miss or Replace all w/replace existing image does it correct the issue?

@NormanosThe only image extractions in the provided log for Holby City are for Season 7 - and they were all successful

Would need the logs for when Season 3 was added or image extraction refreshed - not sure how to invoke that now but one way would be to remove season 3 out and scan and then add it again and capture the logs at the end of all re-scan/processing

Just delete the bif files for that season, do a Scan Metadata Folder task and then re run the image extration task ?   That should regenerate them I believe ?
