adminExitium 355 Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Looks like this is going to end up as another half-baked "feature"...

adminExitium 355 Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 But hasn't the title support also been added to the TMDB plugin? I guess that is where the other season-level data like the overview etc. used to come from and now I am stuck between having it enabled for the other data or disabling it because of the occasional incorrect titles which make it impossible to figure out the correct season.
rbjtech 5284 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 (edited) Another annoying and unwanted result is some shows are now returning 'Series x' and others 'Season x' as metadata - depending on the provider. Before - all just used the folder name (season) which was consistently auto created by a single provider. I DO want the Season metadata - just not the name - so turning it off is not a solution. Please can these updates be tested first for unforseen consequences - and while I know this is a Plugin (so Release/Beta doesn't mater) - it should not just be thrown out there as a fix for this thread ... Neminem 1519 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I had to manually edit the metadata to get Season 1 ... etc back.
Luke 42078 Posted April 9, 2025 Posted April 9, 2025 Hi @cochize1this will be resolved in Emby Server 4.9, so that if you change the library language option, the season titles will adjust (assuming no locked metadata).
