Strange Problem with Emby for Android TV app with Live TV (UK)

I'm using Emby version 4.8.8.0 on my Synology DS124 Nas and the latest version of Emby for Android TV on my Sony Bravia TV downloaded from the Play Store.

I've got a HD Homerun Quattro set up on my network as well so when I set Emby up earlier, I enabled the Live TV option and configured it accordingly.

When I go to the Live TV tab on the Emby Server on my NAS (via PC), the Live TV section is perfect.  All channels recognised with all of the correct channel logos.  The EPG guide is also spot on with all of the correct information.

However, when I go to my TV, load Emby and try the Live TV app, the channel information is basically garbled.  I've attached two pictures to show you the difference.  The "server" picture is how it should be and the "app" picture is how it shouldn't be.

I tried clearing the data and cache of the app and reinstalling it but it made no difference.  I tried refreshing the guide data in the server settings but that also made no difference so I'm a bit stumped :)

Hi.  What does "garbled" mean?  I'm not seeing what you are asking about...

However, you can install the standard android app from the Google store on your TV device and get the exact same guide display.

Look at the first picture.  Channels 1-10 are as they should be, all in the correct order.   BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4 e.t.c..

Now compare it to the second.

The first channel number is 283 for a channel not even available in the UK.  The second is Channel 49, then 33,  then 46.   The BBC channels are nowhere to be seen.

That's what I mean by garbled.

In my defence your honour, it's been a little while since I've used Emby but thankyou for the tip as that's sorted it.

Also, you can install the other app on your TV device if you wish.  Just search for it in the store.

Am I right in thinking the layout is slightly different as it's for "Android" rather than "Android TV" ??

There will be slight differences, yes.
