80srule 33 Posted June 8, 2024 Author Posted June 8, 2024 No just black screen. If I move the mouse I see the controls and it's still sitting on 0 and hasn't even started. But nothing starts
80srule 33 Posted June 9, 2024 Author Posted June 9, 2024 (edited) I have several movies that all do this. Yet if I go to google drive where I store them I can play the file without issue. Here is another movie file. Error opening input file /mnt/nvme12n1/ilovemymac/mountedfolder5/JS-Dropbox/Movies/Bad Boys for Life (2020)/Bad Boys for Life (2020) Bluray-1080p.mp4. Error opening input files: Invalid data found when processing input I see this error which. makes no sense as I can even go see the file by going into the library where I would add a new source for that section. ffmpeg-remux-9ef175df-33e3-4cd0-9c69-ef583712232f_1.txt embyserver.txt Edited June 9, 2024 by 80srule
80srule 33 Posted June 9, 2024 Author Posted June 9, 2024 Yea on a google shared drive. I also have a Google drive that is not shared with me it’s mine. It works fine. But the shared one only a few things play. It clearly sees the movies to scan them. But refuses to play.
Luke 42080 Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Maybe by the time you get to playing it is refusing requests due to hitting your request limits?

I checked my account and I am not even close to my api call limits. It’s interesting that Some will play, but the majority do not. Even if they’ve not even been played. Like I put it on there and as soon as it scanned into Emby, I will try to play and it claims I can’t find the file or some of them don’t even produce an error like the first log files I sent. They just sit there and never gives an error on screen either. I was wondering if there was some difference in a share drive and how it’s red versus one that is actually my drive
visproduction 315 Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 Related? https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Google+drive+blocks+video+playback&ia=web
80srule 33 Posted June 14, 2024 Author Posted June 14, 2024 It had nothing to do with limits. I know that I wasn’t even close to my limit for the day. But the next day everything played. But the weird thing was some stuff played that day, but then most of it did not. I’m wondering if Google some sort of limit from the time that you post something before it’s playable. I’m keeping an eye on it to see if I add more if they do the same thing 1
