Video Playlist has stopped shuffling properly.

I have tried to search and because it's hard to get this into one short sentence, I am unable to find a good answer.  Until recently I have not had this problem with my emby server.  I have a large collection of TV episodes on my media server.  I have setup a playlist for my favorite TV shows.  I have been using shuffle to play these back randomly.  Within the last couple of weeks, though I have noticed that the shuffle option is only taking it from the top now.  As in it will only play shows from the As or Bs of my library (I have things sorted by name and alphabetically).  If I just select my entire TV library and choose shuffle, it seems to still provide a fairly random selection.  It seems to be only affecting my playlists and this only began not long ago.  Is there some recent update that has altered the way the playlists work?  This has completely broken my playlists, unless of course I only want to watch my 16000 video playlist in alphabetic order.

OK let's try this again...

I have setup a playlist of my favorite TV shows from my library of TV shows.  This playlist is 16000 or so episodes.  Until recently this playlist worked as I expected and gave me a randomly shuffled viewing of the list items.  Now when I choose shuffle for my playlist, it only seems to shuffle the top of the list.  As in, it seems to only start with episodes from TV shows starting with A or B names.  When I click the 'up next' and look at what is playing, all of them are from the As and Bs.  I imagine eventually it will get to the Cs, but I want a more random play when I shuffle.  It was doing this properly until a week or so back.  When I shuffle my entire TV library without using a playlist, I do not get this behaviour.  The 'up next' shows a fairly random assortment of TV shows and not just the As or Bs.  MY playlist was working as expected until recently.

As I said since it is hard to describe in a few words, I am unable to get a good search to see if this is a problem for anyone else.
