CatMan7 4 Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 What does the LOG say ? Incidentally, i dont understand why there is no newer version of the server from my Discoverer flatpak, when the server claims there is a newer version
CatMan7 4 Posted June 8, 2024 Author Posted June 8, 2024 When upgraded to emby-server-rpm_4.8.8.0_x86_64.rpm version of emby, there was no entry in the KDE Plasma Application Launcher/Kick-off menu I uninstalled that version, and i have now just installed and tryed the Beta version of Emby Version 4.9.0.23 using the file emby-server-flatpak_4.9.0.23_x86_64.flatpak flatpak everything seems to now be working perfectly fine My TV set can now play both videos and audio files just fine directly from the PC Emby HTML Interface The only issue i now have is that i cant get my TV to display .jpg or .png images I will open a new separate help forum thread for this btw, fantastic software ! 1
