Enhancement request - show current guide data for tv channels in tags

I see this has been implemented (recently I believe) when viewing through a web browser. It would be great if Roku versions could also show the guide data. Attached is an example of what I see when logged into my emby server via a web browser. The guide data is absent in the Roku version. Ultimately I would wish for true group support where a user could select a channel group and see guide data for the next several hours or longer (just as the guide works now, but reduced to channels within the selected group). This is common in many apps by using the  'group-title=' tag within an m3u. Thanks.

I am not sure if what you want is even possible on the Roku. The Roku has limited memory and the programming environment is less than ideal. The program may be limited in some ways that prevents some graphical displays from working correctly.
While what you want does not seem to fall into the "impossible" category it could be that Emby cannot implement it reasonably.
I am not saying it cannot be done but There have been several "enhancements" that had to be done very differently on the Roku and some that were a lot slower to show up on the Roku than on the servers or Android apps.

To be fair there are also many thing that worked early on on the Roku that other clients had problems implementing.  It is my experience that the programmers for the Roku appear superior to those for other clients, although there may be some overlap, and the "wishes" for features seem more likely to happen on the Roku faster than other clients.

Personally I don't care one way or the other and any addition that negatively impacts Roku's performance should not be done, even if I asked for them.
This does not seem like a big change but the Roku environment is complex enough to make me a little concerned, particularly when the mod involves graphics.

Do you mean the "4:00 PM - 5:00 PM" part being the guide data missing on the Roku?

If so,  we can do multiple (more than 2) lines of text below the image if that is what the web app is doing. We can certainly match this on the Roku.

Yes, but the line above the time is needed also, although you probably realize that. "Down Home Fab" being name of the program playing in that time slot. Thanks.

Yes, you mean the Roku is always only showing 2 lines. You would like 3 lines to match the web app in that view. Completely agree. Have added this to the Roku issue tracker.

Reference: Issue #1616: Rows with LiveTV programs/etc need the guide info shown too (3 lines like the web app)

Yes, the Roku app shows only the channel icon and the channel name (taken from the 'tvg-name=' tag in the m3u) - in this case USA HD : HGTV 24. Nothing below that. The 2 additional lines come from the guide data that Emby is providing. Thanks.
