Wrong aspect ratio

Hey guys,

 

I regularly handbrake all my movies and always compare my work between the original and compressed version.  Well today I had a surprise, all handbraked 2.35:1 movies are being played back at something like 2.00:1 (almost 16:9 but not quite).

 

I thought I had a bad setting in Handbrake but I have determined that the files are fine, it's the playback of cropped files that isn't occurring right.

 

I'm not sure that MB3 is the issue - in fact I'm guessing that it's with MPC, but I thought I'd post here first.

 

Anyone else experiencing this?

Sounds like a player or codec issue.  MBC isn't really in control of the display at all during playback.
