Nvidia Shield TV Pro not displaying subtitles correctly

Hello to all. I'm currently utilizing a windows server with two android clients, Nvidia Shield TV Pro (2019 version) and Vbox, as well as numerous IOS devices. Subtitles for live tv display fine on all devices. But for recorded programs subtitles display correctly on pc and IOS devices only; not on Shield or Vbox. The error message is: "unable to load subtitles". Android version 2.1.14. Would appreciate any advice.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?
