FF/Rev don't work on standard app + Shield

I installed the latest std Android app (3.3.99?) on my Shield this weekend.  While playing a video, the FF and Rev remote control buttons don't do anything.

So, after 10s in the std app, back to ATV app

I tried right; I believe it skipped forward.

So what about the buttons?

Single press seems to be working for me for FF/REW buttons of 10 seconds, but long/hard press FF/REW isn't working like the directional buttons.

FF/REW buttons seem to be working now when using Shield remote in 3.4.0.
