Randomly cannot remote login from iphone and ipad

No. i use both emby and plex but plex always work fine with the same network setting ,So  Emby should also be work right?

After server public ip rotate, ipad emby cannot remote login again but this time its show correct wan ip match with public ip. but its say cannot reach server and when i change connection from my home wifi to 5G it can login easily??? But emby(ipad) work with this wifi before. Hope u can help to find the real problem.
 

Noted:this home wifi(not server side) work fine with emby for android tv and other site

The difference is that plex stores information about your server on their servers. This allows Plex apps to stay informed of the public address change. But from a privacy standpoint, do you really want that?

That's why you could do this all on your own with a ddns....then your Emby apps could connect to your Emby Server using the ddns address.

its not about the structure of emby network but its is the problem within ios emby app because in the same time and same wifi emby in android tv always work, and when use wifi with ipad its work for some time but work fine after use 5G not wifi.

Its happened again after restart my router and public ip has changed my iphone with 5g connection cannot login ,after sign in with emby connect it bring me to this screen when choose my server name its show unable to reach server. And after choose login with emby again it loading and bring me to the same screen . Add server also not work with (wan)public ip or in home ip from emby dashboard

Update, i found some bug .Now i cannot remote login again after restart router .first i cannot remote login this is the screen

after that i keeping click my server name and its show the new bottom bar 

after that i keep click “home” at bottom bar and then its bring me to my server but without top right user setting

and then i can play video as normal but .i cannot find authenticated activitywith any ip show in activities list, after that i use internal wifi login  to check with last activities. (time that i start to play20:06-20:11) and (20:13 i use internal wifi login to check log)

Hi, there is no authenticated event unless it was a new sign in.

yes it is new sign in because i still cannot use auto remote login with 5g

yes ,i still cannot remote login with normal auto login. android tv never have login issue, i assume the problem came from app emby ios/ipados not server or network problem.

After Update emby ios to v.2.2.31, i cannot use this method to access emby server anymore. Now it 100% cannot remote login to my server.

most of the time its stuck with this page

then when i select sign in emby connect it. keep bring me to this page again and again. this happen after changing public ip from router ,many restart server or pc doesn’t help .but now i can remote login with no problem without do anything special with same public ip ,that i cannot reach server for 3-4day ago.

My daugther has this problem after .2.2.31 on ios and macos. Has worked before just fine. She hasnt been using emby in a couple of weeks i think, so didnt noticed this until yesterday.

Via browser both works just fine. Just tried with a vpn to here and then it works in the apps. App remote from 5g or her wired network gets her same error as @ROOKIE Unable to reach

I still encounter these issues. I try to connect Emby on my iPhone using 5G, but it fails to connect to the server. As a result, I share my iPhone’s hotspot with my iPad, but my iPad is still able to connect to Emby.

I just tried with version 2.2.33. I am still unable to find a server via 5G to log in to a server on an iOS device. Android tv can remote log in without a problem.

Problem is still here for me....

Suspect iPhone MacOS browser may autocomplete or some other cache related issue stopping an direct IP address access.

1. Try clearing the cache of the browser.
2. Make sure you are entering the IP address in the URL address area and not in a search.  Try opening an incognito browser and rentering the Ip address in the top URL address area.
