Guest Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 So I am getting the error no compatible streams are currently available This seems to be happening with more and more movies lately, nearly always with every new FLUX release which is almost all new movies, then it started happening to other h264 new movies also. They will either sometimes work direct playing to my smart phone but will always fail with the no compatible streams if I try and transcode them. I have attached the ffmpeg log where it fails from hardware transcode, which works on nearly everything else so I dont think it to be that, then fails software transcode also!? I am now setting up a new container to see if I can end up with the same result but unsure how to fix this whether it be a ffmpeg emby library issue or what. ffmpeg-transcode-d210b2f2-ad7e-4a96-8499-7bd247662c75_1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 Hi, please attach the Emby server log as well. Thanks.

Lessaj 467 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 These are all failing with the same error. Stream map '0:6' matches no streams. I only see up to stream 0:5 in the log but the json at the top would hint that there are a lot of subtitle tracks (which should be discovered by ffprobe) but I only see 4 reported by ffmpeg. How many subtitle tracks are shown on the item detail page? How many subtitle tracks does the MKV show it has? Refreshing the metadata might help but for it to be happening constantly on every new file you add doesn't seem right.
Guest Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 So I used to just convert them to TV since that worked format wise, now it seems if I run them through MKVtoolnix to repackage the audio video subtitles they work, so even more confused on what the issue could be here since that doesnt re encode anything.
Luke 42077 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Most likely you changed the file, but didn't run a library scan to help make Emby Server aware of the change. So I would either do that or manually refresh metadata on that one video.
