Media Browser Dashboard, Episode images changing format

I am using Media Browser Dashboard.  The server version info is 3.0.5424.1.  Works great, however I am probably missing something.

 

The problem is this.  Once I have uploaded a TV episode into the server, occasionally I will have to go in to insert a image (in this particular case episode image).  When I upload it, it changes from landscape to portrait.  I have checked the image size, makes no difference, it always comes up portrait.  By default all initial images come up landscape, so as you can see, episodes come up in both formats.  Any idea how to change this back to Landscape?  I have an included a screenshot to show what the problem I am having.  Thanks for any assistance you may have.

If you click into one of those episodes, how does the image show on the detail page?

In the past this was due to the "treat image as" option under display settings when you edited the episode.  Blanking it out fixed the issue for me, but granted this was months ago.
