unless I've missed a setting, auto-update the server or perhaps an, email - update available.

I don't often check the dashboard and miss the updates.

Have you installed the email plugin 😉

yes and restarted server.  Plug-in doesn't like my choice of outgoing, or to, or smtp server, or something.

Tried icloud and gmail.  Neither make it happy to send.

Hi.  A few platforms don't have this ability but most do.

Firefox (macOS) doesn't have server update available.  But the 2nd for plug-ins is.

It could be because of security and pop up setting I have globally in FFx.
Thanks jaycedk.

After doing the reading and some thinking, I realized that FFx is very picky sometimes.

FFx would not show app passwords on the page due to security settings I have. giggle, giggle, giggle.

I made the changes and added an app password with Safari, my "insecure" browser.

The test went thru.

But for others who have the same issue with FFx for whatever reason.

Goog Acct settings/Security/Search Goog acct (select at bottom of page, but filed opens at top.  go figure)

enter ”app”.  App password will be a choice.
