moemoe 2 Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 I am having this issue too. A number of files fail to play with the above error message. I have attached an ffmpeg-transcode log: This particular file does not work on Chrome (or firefox or Opera) but works in the android app (but fails in the web app on Chrome for android).. I have tried to find similarities between the files that do not play and cant really see any. ffmpeg-transcode-5238d892-a53d-4caa-bff5-79e10ba04528_1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 @moemoeplease try refreshing the metadata on that title and see if it helps. Thanks.
moemoe 2 Posted September 15, 2025 Author Posted September 15, 2025 (edited) Since last time I've refreshed metadata for items that have popped up in the log as users playing a file several times in a row with less than a minute playtime. I've gone in on the entry in question and refreshed the meta data and the file seems to play, at least for a while. It seems to happen quite a lot. Since 4.8.11.0 seems to have moved the refresh meta data entry in the menu; is there somewhere else I can do the refresh for individual files? Or, better yet, is there a way to fix this issue for once and for all? Edit: The refresh metadata menu selection seems to be back, not sure what happened there. So feel free to ignore this question unless someone has a good solution for the underlying issue Edited September 16, 2025 by moemoe 1
