Folders view in options not respected when entering Music Videos

Horizontal View:

So a recent change made to Emby Theatre. If I now go into MUSIC VIDEOS library, instead of landing on FOLDERS view like defined in Emby Settings as the default view, I get a new screen that has Latest Content etc. and that latest screen introduced really should have had a GENRES tile on it too to be useful.

Can you fix the bug please, so that if you have FOLDERS defined in settings it goes like it originally did to FOLDERS view?

Hi, the horizontal home screen has never incorporated your home screen settings. It has always been more of a "special sauce" from years ago that has been mostly left untouched.

To support all of the home screen settings it will need a complete revamp.

Can it not just read the setting that already defined and if set to FOLDERS it launches the original page (i.e. folders view page) instead of the changed screen it is now?

Its just introduced more clicks that's all than what was there before, and it looks to be the case of just reading that setting. It used to just go to the FOLDERS view page by default.

1. Same behaviour with Audiobooks - newer version of ET since original post. Ignroing FOLDERS set as landing page in Emby app settings
2. Also odd cover art issue with audiobooks on new screen - see screen shot below.
3. I like there is a GENRES link on the main page. On a MUSIC VIDEOS library though you PUT FOLDERS and I feel you should change that to GENRES like Audiobooks.
4. Another thing that needs changing for the new Audiobooks landin screen is the words "ARTISTS" and "ALBUMS" - simply should be "Authors" and "Books" with Authors as the top tile not the second one down.
