Storage location Collection fanart

Modified my movie and TV Show fanart backgrounds with blur and saturation instead of using CSS to have a corporate experience on all clients.

Only thing I'm struggling with are collections. Where are the wallpaper stored for them?

Thanks!

Which platform?

Under Windows, default path would be

C:\Users\[youruser]\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\metadata\collections,

with each collection having its own subfolder and artwork within.

That's the Problem. I have just an nfo file in most of them (only the self created collections) and no fanart. In the collection folders from autoboxset plugin there are just nfos in the folders it seems.

I will check tomorrow if the files are in the plugin folder now that I think about it.

Is your current server an incremental update from sub- or 4.5 version? As 4.5->4.6 server update brought along changes in Collections storage path. Do you have any collection subfolders/images under data/collections? Btw, AutoBoxSet plugin is deprecated, Collections are now part of Emby core.

And what is your Collections library settings?  As if not in \metadata\collections\(ie media folder) they will reside in \metadata\library\xx\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx folders.

But you can enable debug logging and change/add image to existing collection to see where is goes. @shorty1483

So, after further investigating, the artwork resides in

\programdata\data\collections\XXXXXXXXXXX für auto generated collections

\metadata\collections\XXXXXXXXXX for self uploaded images.

Is this default behaviour, I don't know. Did I reach my goal, yes. Thanks guys for the tips!

For an old installation yes as the original info before migration exist in the database.

But from the point of migration all new collections will have everything in \metadata\collections.
