GregMo 24 Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Has anyone found a way to change the skip length to an amount greater than 30 seconds? I'm using a server to serve a prerecorded radio steam and I'd love the skip length to be 3 minutes to skip the longer commercial blocks, songs you don't like, etc. This isn't necessarily particular to the Android server, but it's on an Android that I'm running this particular server. Cheers
ebr 16169 Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Hi. This is a per-client setting. Which app are you using?
GregMo 24 Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 Per client? It's a server setting; one of the "Playback" options. To answer your question, however, I'm using the web interface to play it back. Where would you set that in either the web client or the android client?

When you access this setting from the client options it takes you to the server settings. Either way, it still only allows for a max of 30 seconds. My question wasn't really so much for the operation of Emby itself, but rather if anyone like myself has found a way to do what I would like to do. Ideally, it would be great if this setting was a value that could be keyed in, instead of selected from a drop down menu. Then if someone wanted 30 seconds, or like me, wanted 180 seconds, we could both get what we wanted.

Hi, I mean sure, that is possible, but if you did that then you'd never be able to just advance a few seconds, right?
