Drummy 0 Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 (edited) Unsure where to post this, but I thought I'd let you know that is a error with one of the movies. Tried watching a Australian movie called The Castle, and when I pressed play a German movie called Das Schloss plays instead Edited May 30, 2024 by Drummy Spelling mistake
Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Since they are the same name I can only guess misidentification or metadata translation issue. Do you have both movies? But need to go over specific folder structure and naming scheme.
Drummy 0 Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 No I searched up Das Schloss and nothing came up
Happy2Play 9780 Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 And if you search The Castle it shows up correct? So is The Castle actually the german named movie? As all we can do is guess for this media. But to me sound like you have German movie and is misidentified.
Drummy 0 Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 When I search for The Castle it appears to be the Australian movie until you press play and the German movie starts.

So the physical media is different than what it was Identified as. So you do not have the movies you thought you did. You will need to Manually Identify this media as what it actually is. Or renaming it to something else maybe with providerid id. Movie Naming | #id-tags-in-folder--file-names I will guess do to generic folder/filename got wrong metadata from provider. This is why I ask for structure and naming.

I use emby through a Android box into my TV, I don't have a working computer and access this through my phone.
