NeverEnoughGame 1 Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 Just in the last couple of days, I've noticed that when I pause a show or movie the audio will restart from the beginning of the episode. It just starts playing while the show is still paused. If I unpause, the episode continues with the audio from where I paused, but with that second audio from the beginning playing as well. If I continue to pause/unpause, new audio streams will keep adding in. The only way to stop it is to close the browser tab completely. So essentially, I can't pause anymore. I haven't changed any settings, though I think I did do an update not long before this started. I'm on version 4.8.7.0 running Windows 11. My browser is Opera. Has anyone heard of this? It's not stopping me from using the software, but it is pretty annoying.
NeverEnoughGame 1 Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 Update: It's now doing the same thing when I fast forward. This has officially become a problem.
Luke 42077 Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
NeverEnoughGame 1 Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 Here's my server log. After experimenting a little, I've found the problem only happens when I watch things in Opera. I tried watching things in Microsoft Edge and it played just fine. So if we can't figure out the issue I suppose I could just do that. But I hate having to use Edge for anything. I made sure my Opera is updated and everything should be good there. embyserver.txt

I made the thread around 7pm, eastern time, so it would have been right before then. Another thing I've noticed is it seems to only do it when I use my keyboard to pause or skip ahead. If I use my mouse, it doesn't happen.
