Are you using a combo Modem/Router supplied buy or purchased from you ISP?

If so then it's VERY common that when it cannot connect to the WAN these devices will drop all LAN connectivity instantly OR when the device needs to renew it's DHCP address!

That is not the issue. Please don't post speculative replies.

Well did you read the logs your self ?

There are internet errors in there.

2024-05-28 19:43:41.669 Error HttpClient: Error NameResolutionFailure getting response from https://api.github.com/repos/MediaBrowser/Emby.Theater.Windows/releases

2024-05-28 19:43:41.676 Error TaskManager: Error MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'api.github.com' ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'api.github.com'

2024-05-28 19:43:41.678 Info TaskManager: Check for application updates Failed after 0 minute(s) and 11 seconds

All this looks like its checking for a update on startup, and I can't.

There is you answer.

I have no clue as to why it is checks for update when it starts up.

Or why it does not just continue.

Yes, I reviewed the log. An application hang or crash when there is no internet connectivity is the issue. I have Starlink internet and verified it was offline at the time.

I just disabled you network on my client, and I see the same issue.

Emby Theater is not opening when no internet or network is available.

Devs will need to answer 😉
