Can't seem to find it in the library Metadata options....

I am logged in as the Admin for the server - for sure, first thing I checked.

No it is current bug in 4.8.7.0 mentioned in this topic.  But should be able to see option in other clients just not web client.

Yes, it is there in the Android app.

But there is more to it than just the option missing.  I will post the log at some point but in a library with 78 items it has been scanning for 40+ minutes.   I added one movie and it triggered the rescan.

It has not added the movie as yet.   The lookup for the move by name and by themoviedb id number fails.  If I put the movie ID in the metadata, I can click on the lookup option at the end of the External ID's/themoviedb and it will lookup the movie correctly, but it will not gather metadata.

The same is true for actors etc.  Emby refuses to look them up but....adding their ID to the persons metadata and clicking on the image,  it will do the lookup.

Last but not least,  I have ADMv2 plugin loaded but there are no lookups showing up for actors images or movies from that plugin, even though it is at the top of the lookup list.

Without server logs for a specific example, it is really impossible to say.

As for the ADMv2 issue you need to post in the community plugin topic as that dev is the only one that can help with it.

Hi, it has not been removed, but as far as I know, only MovieDb supports it.

The biggest thing is Actor and Director lookup.

Try Hal Freeman.  Although there isn't much of a bio on themoviedb,  there is one.   A search for the actor brings up nothing.   But if I go to themoviedb, look him up and then take his ID and stick it in the proper meta field - it will look him up.

It does the same for most other actors and no lookup I have done since splitting servers has shown an AMDv2  identify result.  Usually if there are multiple similar named actors it will show all but the adult actors,  and again looking them up - they are on themoviedb,  they just won't show if you use identify.  Even if you put the actor ID, 935904 for Hal Freeman into the identify field  - identify can not find him.  But if you create the person by name, then add the ID to themoviedb field for the person, close that and click on the person - emby will look them up and add the meta for the person.

What it really seems to me is that emby is not allowing adult People look ups as a couple crossover actresses like Diana Prince seem to lookup with no issues

Sorry I do not follow as enabling adult option on library and adding PhotoFlesh (1984) pulled everything available for Director ie only providerid.

What else you want as TMDB has absolutely nothing for this example but a providerid?

which is weird because its not looking up for me.

Maybe i gotta turn the Adult meta option on and off as it missed a switch somewhere.......

And it seems to be working fine.  No idea why but turn it off, restart and turn it back on and its doing look ups.

Would need to see the query for the media item itself as info comes from item not by name lookup.

So first query got media id for second query to get all cast and their ids.

No I saved another actress that showed in thetvdb but wouldn't identify,  and it identified and loaded as expected using the identify function.

Weird stuff.......but it seems like themoviedb adult meta switch was somehow set wrong....

But Like I said - its working as expected again.
