justinrh 260 Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 I changed my LAN's network scheme, so everything got new IP addresses. Emby couldn't find the HDHR tuner anymore, so I deleted the existing tuner in Emby and added it back with the new IP address. Now, all the scheduled recordings (one-timers or series) are gone. The series still show as set to record, but they recordings are not happening. Emby says it is recording these: but all of the future episodes are now missing under "Live TV" > Schedule. Toggling on/off will probably fix it, but please fix this so scheduled recordings are not lost. At the very least, don't lie to me about series are recording and they are not.
Luke 42077 Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Hi, the change of ip address didn’t cause this, it’s the removing and readding of the tuner that did it. Best thing to do next time is just update the tuner address in tuner setup. 1
justinrh 260 Posted May 26, 2024 Author Posted May 26, 2024 Right. At first I didn't think I could do that (was looking in the wrong place), then after the damage was done I saw where I could change the address. Still, losing scheduled recordings and making me think series are still in tact (when they are not) still needs to be addressed. The TV channels didn't change. Feel free to change the thread title.

They would be intact if configured to use all channels rather than one. I suppose we can add some info to the confirmation prompt when removing a tuner. 1
