Share Libraries with other servers

The feature to share playlists was not found in version 4.8, and the current version used has reached 4.8.7. I hope this functionality can be supported because it would allow me to access my friend's music library or other libraries on my own Emby Server, which would be very practical. I hope the administrators consider implementing this feature.

No I mean in user permissions, your emby user needs to be granted access to share playlists with other users.

When this is granted, then the context menu for a playlist will have a menu option called "manage collaboration".

It seems we might not be talking about the same feature. If you're familiar with Plex, you'd know that it allows a user, with mutual authorization, to mount their friend's music collection to their own Emby Server. This process requires authorization from both parties. Has there been any consideration of adding this feature to future development plans? If so, I believe it would make Emby even more appealing as it offers greater freedom and meets the needs of many users. It would also be great to see a survey or poll conducted on this feature.

It may not have been clear that his point was about the media collections being stored on a different server, not on the same host. This proposed feature would enable users to access and mount their friends' media libraries from another server into their own Emby Server interface, contingent upon mutual permissions being granted. is it maybe not already possible to add a network share to emby from your friend? i understand that this is not the ideal solution, but it could be a quick dirty solution

If it's just a folder then you can already import that into Emby library setup.
