Hi,

i am using EMBY Live TV in connection with xteve to mix different m3u sources. Since yesterday everything was working fine - but since today i am always getting an "The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception." error and i cannot make sense out of it as my setup did not change at all. Iam attaching by server log hoping that somebody has an idea on what is going on. embyserver.txt

HI, did you see this?

	MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: BadGateway

Something wrong with the channel source perhaps?

hi, Tobias, did you get this issue resolved? I am getting a similar error now on my Emby for windows, not sure what's causing it as nothing has changed in Emby configs.

...

MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
---> System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid because of errors in the certificate chain: NotTimeValid

...

Would need to see the server log but suggest a certificate issue per other topics with NotTimeValid.

Here is the log after I rebooted the emby server and navigated to one of the channels. looks like the error is thrown when server tries to download channel logo

https://static-25.sinclairstoryline.com/resources/assets/tennischannel/images/TennisChannel.whiteBg.png

but the image can be opened from my chrome browser

embyserver.txt 62.84 kB · 0 downloads

The site itself has expired cert and have to acknowledge in browser to bypass.

Since Emby does not acknowledge the issue it will not bypass the issue.  So Emby error is actually correct.

Yes, you are right. I remember I had to do that the first time when visiting the page from my browser. I guess Emby server doesn't have cert setup so it threw the error.

However, I just found out why I didn't see the error before but now, because I reloaded my channels from M3U file but forgot to check "Allow mapping to guide data using channel numbers", which caused none of my channels are mapped to Emby guide hence logos are not loading from Emby guide but from the original M3U file instead. then these SSL errors start popping out.

Thanks for helping out!
