v2.2.33 has been available for a week now, but unfortunately it is still crashing on startup for IOS 12.5.7.

After both upgrading and reinstalling, v2.2.34 still has not fixed the problem on IOS 12.5.7, at least not for me.

iPad Mini 2.  Software 12.5.7 and Emby 2.2.34 and still won't load.  Crashes immediately.

Hello team,

please, please familiarize yourselves with the app. I accidentally sealed it, and this is my iPad for long sports sessions. Now I have nothing to watch.

Would love to use an old iPhone as a Emby Server but 12.5.7 is in.a crash loop. How can you not fix this?

(1) There is no Emby server for iOS; I presume you mean the Emby client (which talks to your server).

(2) That is an old version of iOS, so it is hard to maintain compatibility.  They fixed a similar problem recently, but it has recurred in the latest version - and there is already another thread complaining about it.

(3) "How?"  They almost certainly can; it is taking its place among the various issues which are currently being analysed and fixed, and will be sorted in due course.  It may be that one or two problems which affect far more people might push past it in the queue, I guess.

iPads Mini 2, iOS 12.5.7 and Emby 2.2.36 still not loading. Deleted older version, rebooted and reinstalled and still does the crash loop.

Hello everyone,  I've encountered the same problem.

Device Information:
- Device Model: iPad Air (1st generation)
- Operating System: iOS 12.5.7 (latest available for this device)
- Emby Client Version: 2.2.39

Issue Description:
The Emby client crashes immediately upon launching the app, rendering it unusable. This occurs consistently across multiple attempts, including after restarting the device and reinstalling the application. The problem persists regardless of network conditions or server status.

 Already Taken:
1. Restarted the iPad
2. Reinstalled the Emby client
3. Confirmed storage availability (>2GB free space)
