Search doesn't work in categories, while work on general

If I try to search for a video (file title name) when I am inside a category for example "Animation", an error accessing the server etc. always appears.

If I do the same search on Film, that is, all the films are regularly found.

Is it a bug or what?

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Yess you are right i try on my NVidia Shield Pro Emby Androd and in this app the search also in categories run well.

So the problem is Emby for Android Tv !?

Well honestly Emby for Android TV has more options and is graphically better than the pure Android version.

Can't this be fixed for Android TV too?

Hi, more options such as what? What option is missing that you would like to see?

So to summarize this problem of the search in the categories not working, it is present in the Emby version for Android TV and not in the Android version.

Sorry Staff, isn't it possible to fix this BUG so as to have the two versions as similar as possible in terms of use?

HI, we are trying to consolidate our efforts so that we don't have to build everything twice.
 

Have you tried the latest version of the Emby standard android app?

Yep with standard android app this issue not happened as I already said above  ...the bug is on Emby for Android TV
