pgriffith 88 Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Hi Running Theater 3.0.20 on Windows 11 with a Ryzen CPU & Radeon GPU on a 4k TV. Everything works fine for playing back content, but I cannot access the settings menu. If I navigate to it with the keyboard and when I hit Enter or Space it makes the noise of hitting the button but the setting menu never appears. Using a mouse or the MCE IR remote also does not work. Things I have tried: Running in a Windows instead of fullscreen, tried changing desktop resolution to 1080p from 4k, tried differing Windows scaling options from 100% to 300% (the recommended by Windows for 4k) I have 7 other PC's running 3.0.20, some are mine and some are located at my Mums and Sisters place etc. They are all working fine, just this one instance which unfortunately is a main lounge room viewing PC, and not on a nephews PC in their bedroom. We really want to be able to shut Theater down from the menu with the IR remote without having to grab a mouse to do it.
Luke 42077 Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Hi, which button is it, the settings cog or the user menu?
pgriffith 88 Posted May 19, 2024 Author Posted May 19, 2024 The user menu, directly to the left of the time. When you mouse over it pops up with 'Settings'
Luke 42077 Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Hi, can you try restarting the app and seeing if that helps?
pgriffith 88 Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 Of course, possibly hundreds of times over the many months.
Luke 42077 Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Can you try found a full uninstall and reinstall of the app? Thanks.
pgriffith 88 Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 I'll give it a go, that's the only thing I haven't done. Will take me awhile to get back to you, it's offsite to me, I'll have to make a visit.
pgriffith 88 Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 I lied I paid them a visit tonight, uninstalled/reinstalled, now working fine. Gotta love computers huh! 1
