Victor240 1 Posted May 18, 2024 Posted May 18, 2024 Hello, I have Emby server 4.8.3 on a Synology NAS and there's an issue with the Trakt plugin. Adding TV episodes to the library of Trakt has stopped working. If I manually add an episode that I have on my emby library it is later removed. This is from Emby log: 2024-05-18 13:04:39.110 Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Series, Name: Young Sheldon, Path: /volume1/Emby/Σειρές/Young.Sheldon.S07E14.1080p.WEB.H264-SuccessfulCrab[TGx], Id: 64242 Strangely enough, when I watch this episode, it's correctly marked as watched in Trakt. Any ideas?
Luke 42077 Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 HI there, please attach the complete emby server log file. Thanks.
Victor240 1 Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 Hello, Here you are. embyserver-63851673600.txt
Luke 42077 Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 Hi, was the file removed from the media directory? The server seems to think so.
Victor240 1 Posted May 24, 2024 Author Posted May 24, 2024 No, the file is still there, it's shown in the library in Emby and after watching it, it is correctly marked as watched in Trakt.
Victor240 1 Posted May 28, 2024 Author Posted May 28, 2024 @LukeIt's not picked up by Trakt plugin. It's displayed on my emby library but not in Trakt and when I will watch it, it will be added directly as watched in trakt. This is quite inconvenient because it removes the biggest reason for using trakt for me, which is keeping my collection up to date.
Luke 42077 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Can you please provide a log from a different example? thanks.
Victor240 1 Posted June 4, 2024 Author Posted June 4, 2024 Hi @Luke, here is another example with "Maestro in Blue". In this case, I have added the show to my library, it's shown in Emby but not in Trakt. embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Hi, please let me know if version 3.7.3 of the Emby Trakt plugin helps with this. Thanks !
Victor240 1 Posted June 10, 2024 Author Posted June 10, 2024 Unfortunately, @Lukeit didn't fix it. I updated Emby server to 4.8.8 but still not synching to Trakt.

Luke 42077 Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 OK can you temporarily enable debug logging, then add another new episode, and then attach the debug log? thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 It looks like it did report the new episode to trakt: 2024-06-14 17:38:31.870 Info Trakt: 1 Episode Adds to Process 2024-06-14 17:38:33.086 Info HttpClient: POST https://api.trakt.tv/sync/collection
Victor240 1 Posted June 17, 2024 Author Posted June 17, 2024 But nothing is added to my collection on Trakt. What about this error, could it hinder the process? 2024-06-14 17:26:28.402 Error Trakt: Error syncing trakt data for user embysvr at Trakt.ScheduledTasks.SyncFromTrakt.SyncTraktDataForUser(User user, TraktUser traktUser, Double currentProgress, CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress`1 progress, Double percentPerUser) at Trakt.ScheduledTasks.SyncFromTrakt.Execute(CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress`1 progress) Source: Trakt
Luke 42077 Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Quote But nothing is added to my collection on Trakt. How did you determine this?
Victor240 1 Posted June 20, 2024 Author Posted June 20, 2024 From the screenshot, I posted in my previous post. That's how the episodes are shown in Trakt when they are missing and below, you can see how they are when they have been collected.
Luke 42077 Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 What should that look like? Can you try a different series?
Victor240 1 Posted June 23, 2024 Author Posted June 23, 2024 Hi @Luke, You can see in the picture below that when episodes are added to emby's library and are synced with trakt, they are shown as "collected" (Season 3). When episodes are missing, like in season 4, they are shown as not collected with the red "X". I've tried different series and it's the same, emby's library is not synching with trakt.
Victor240 1 Posted June 23, 2024 Author Posted June 23, 2024 I've tried with two different series and it seems to be working. I see this error in the logs, but if it works, it works. 2024-06-23 11:40:01.187 Error Trakt: Error syncing trakt data for user embysvr *** Error Report *** Version: 4.8.8.0 Command line: /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/packages/EmbyServer/var -ffdetect /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/bin/ffprobe -nolocalportconfig -ignore_vaapi_enabled_flag -pidfile /var/packages/EmbyServer/var/EmbyServer.pid -defaultdirectory /volume1/Public -updatepackage emby-server-synology72_{version}_armv8.spk Operating system: Linux version 4.4.302+ (root@build8) (gcc version 12.2.0 (GCC) ) #64570 SMP Thu Jul 20 00:06:53 CST 2023 Framework: .NET 6.0.25 OS/Process: arm64/arm64 Runtime: volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 4 Data path: /var/packages/EmbyServer/var Application path: /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/system System.NullReferenceException: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Trakt.ScheduledTasks.SyncFromTrakt.SyncTraktDataForUser(User user, TraktUser traktUser, Double currentProgress, CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress`1 progress, Double percentPerUser) at Trakt.ScheduledTasks.SyncFromTrakt.Execute(CancellationToken cancellationToken, IProgress`1 progress) Source: Trakt TargetSite: Void MoveNext()
