Trakt not adding new tv episodes but watched state works fine

Hello,

I have Emby server 4.8.3 on a Synology NAS and there's an issue with the Trakt plugin. Adding TV episodes to the library of Trakt has stopped working. If I manually add an episode that I have on my emby library it is later removed.

This is from Emby log:

2024-05-18 13:04:39.110 Info App: Removing item from database, Type: Series, Name: Young Sheldon, Path: /volume1/Emby/Σειρές/Young.Sheldon.S07E14.1080p.WEB.H264-SuccessfulCrab[TGx], Id: 64242

Strangely enough, when I watch this episode, it's correctly marked as watched in Trakt.

Any ideas?

HI there, please attach the complete emby server log file. Thanks.

Any thoughts?

Hi, was the file removed from the media directory? The server seems to think so.

No, the file is still there, it's shown in the library in Emby and after watching it, it is correctly marked as watched in Trakt.

What happens if you add a new episode?

@LukeIt's not picked up by Trakt plugin. It's displayed on my emby library but not in Trakt and when I will watch it, it will be added directly as watched in trakt. This is quite inconvenient because it removes the biggest reason for using trakt for me, which is keeping my collection up to date.

How have you configured the trakt plugin?

These are my settings:

Can you please provide a log from a different example? thanks.

Hi @Luke, here is another example with "Maestro in Blue". In this case, I have added the show to my library, it's shown in Emby but not in Trakt.

Hi, please let me know if version 3.7.3 of the Emby Trakt plugin helps with this. Thanks !

Unfortunately, @Lukeit didn't fix it. I updated Emby server to 4.8.8 but still not synching to Trakt.

OK can you temporarily enable debug logging, then add another new episode, and then attach the debug log? thanks.

It looks like it did report the new episode to trakt:

But nothing is added to my collection on Trakt.

What about this error, could it hinder the process?

How did you determine this?

From the screenshot, I posted in my previous post. That's how the episodes are shown in Trakt when they are missing and below, you can see how they are when they have been collected.

What should that look like?

Can you try a different series?

Hi @Luke,

You can see in the picture below that when episodes are added to emby's library and are synced with trakt, they are shown as "collected" (Season 3). When episodes are missing, like in season 4, they are shown as not collected with the red "X".

I've tried different series and it's the same, emby's library is not synching with trakt.

I've tried with two different series and it seems to be working. I see this error in the logs, but if it works, it works.
