Emby Server Migration Issues

I did a test migration today using the backup and restore plugin.  A library scan and metadata refresh seems to have fixed the libraries up which is great.

The library images did not work except for the Live TV library?  Movies, TV Shows and TV Recordings all had to be re-set manually.

The users homescreen settings all seem to be reset to default.  I have quite a few users so if I can't transfer it I'll need to manually go through and reset them all up manually.  Is it possible to move those settings over somehow?  Would be nice to figure that part out before I migrate it for real.

Lastly, I did not copy the server id during restoration.  When I do the 'real' migration (im moving to a different server so I'll update the dns to point to new IP at the same time) should I restore the Server ID as well? I'm not too clear on the resulting difference between doing it and not doing it.  I'm hoping that the users won't notice anything happened at all and their devices will automatically access the new server once the DNS updates.

My original post question(s) still stand - I had posted a follow up about images not showing up in the guide but it was my own mistake (firefox plugin was interfering) but couldnt figure out how to delete it

Hi, were these custom images, or just the auto-generated ones?

Custom images.  Thought it was weird that only the Live TV one made its way over.

The only settings I changed were default live tv view from recommend to guide and I also changed several of the items in the drop downs at the top of the page that customize the home screen.   Everything I changed was reset back to default for every user
