Emby theater on windows instantly close since last update

is this on windows ?

Does the same arise if you uninstall the Microsoft Store version and installed version 3.0.20 from here Emby Theater - Emby

Assuming it is on windows, anything in the the Windows Application Event log (Event Viewer) at the time of the app closing?

Had the same issue, when hitting the button play next, it would close, downloaded it from emby,

 

Will see if that fixed it

Having a similar problem on version 1.1.563.0 on Windows 11

Plays 1 thing and then shuts down, I've tried with music and TV series.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hi, this issue with the store app is resolved for the next update, which should be by tomorrow morning. Thanks.

Hey all, just to throw my hat in the ring, I'm having the same problem with the latest version from the Microsoft store on windows 10 and on Xbox one.

It will play 1 thing then immediately close itself out when it goes to play the next. Makes it entirely unusable for music, which is what I use the theater apps for most.

 

I see Luke said there's already a solution inbound for this, so will download that update as soon as it's available and test it out.

Hey sorry for the late reply Luke, when I checked that morning it still wasn't out so I went ahead and uninstalled then used the manual download link.
