Luke 42080 Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Hi, do you have nfo saving enabled in Emby library setup?

Happy2Play 9782 Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 (edited) Emby has two options database only and nfo with media. if you do not have nfo saver enabled everything only exists in database and changing that option requires a Refresh of some sort to trigger all the database info to be written to nfo files. Best options is enable nfo saver and Refresh Search for Missing. Note images are another story. Edited May 10, 2024 by Happy2Play

After that I changed the metadata within the client via the client in emby, but the local metadata files were not updated with the changes within the client. Now I want to save these metadata that I changed in .nfo format to my computer, how can I do that? The two images below show the local nfo metadata now and the metadata after my changes in the client.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 You have to enable nfo saver per library in library setup. If updating metadata in UI still does not update your nfo files the it sounds like you may have a permissions issue but would need to see a server log for a specific example.
